Windows Movie Maker 6 for Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)

Windows 7 does not automatically include Windows Movie Maker. The common Movie Maker option suggested by Microsoft is Windows Live Movie Maker. Movie Maker 2.1 is the usual version included with Windows XP. Some versions of Windows Vista have either Windows Movie Maker 2.6 or Movie Maker 2011 by default. Windows Movie Maker 6 is the best version of Movie Maker. It is included in some versions of Vista but a Windows 7 compatible version is also available here.
